Acknowledging that the M4 just wasn't quite making the grade against the Tiger I's 88mm cannon, America developed the M26 Pershing heavy tank with its 90mm cannon to be deployed during the final stages of WWII. Tamiya presents a 1/16 R/C model of the M26 tank equipped with special speaker unit, new DMD Control Unit T-06 and Multifunction Unit MF-03.

This R/C model also features turret rotation and elevation, cannon recoil, and realistic sound that includes not only weapon firing and engine revving sounds, but tank track clanking as well!

The Leopard 2, was first produced in 1979 and is in service with the armies of Austria, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden and Spain, with over 3000 produced.

Tamiya's Leopard 2A5 will be the newest addition to the 1/35 scale R/C tank series and features the same wide range of movement and R/C unit as the 1/35 scale Tiger I and King Tiger R/C models.

Victory is the best motivation for developing a competitive chassis. Hence the release of the TRF414MII based upon the winning performance of the current TRF414M chassis.

The TRF414M Chassis took the recent victories at the Hong Kong International Race with a one-two finish by Thai ace driver Surikarn Chaidajsuriya and TRF's own Masayuki Miura, as well as the first place victory for the Modified Class at the CS Open 2001 in Germany under the skilled driving of young gun Mark Rheinard. The new TRF414MII will feature almost identical basic specifications as the successful TRF414MII (why tamper with success?), however, the current silver colored aluminum parts (dampers, bulkheads, etc.) will be upgraded to blue anodized aluminum bulkheads.

Due to the different regulations of international R/C race events, tires and wheels are not planned to be included in kit.

A red-hot alternative will be made available for the TXT-1. For those who wish for a change from the cool blue polycarbonate body of the TXT-1, Tamiya now offers a sizzling spare body set that comes in fiery red (thickness and material have not been altered).

This body comes pre-painted, with head and taillights pre-stickered. Additional logo stickers are included in set.

Last year, Tamiya released the 1/12 scale Telefonica Movistar Suzuki RGV- Gamma '00 (Item 14083). This model was an authentic replication of the machine that took the championship and defeated the unshakable Honda Team in the 2000 Grand Prix series 500cc class under the miraculous driving of Kenny Roberts, Jr. and the sponsorship of the Spanish communications group Telefonica Movistar.

Tamiya plans to have an authentic 1/12 scale model replication of the 2001 version of Telefonica Movistar's Suzuki RGV 500 as driven by Kenny Roberts Jr. on display at the Nuremberg Hobby Show. New decals and parts will reflect logo and design changes made for the 2001 Grand Prix season.

In the 2001 F-1 season, Ferrari, Shell, and Michael Schumacher humbled all challengers as Ferrari earned the most amount of points ever amassed in an F-1 season so far and Schumacher became the most successful Formula One driver of all time.

Tamiya now offers a faithful 1/20 scale reproduction of the incredible Ferrari machine that shook the F-1 world during the 2001 racing season, with its electro-hydraulic 7- speed gearbox in pre-machined welded titanium and longitudinally mounted 3000 Ferrari (Type 050) V10 Engine. Added parts reflect changes from the Ferrari F1-2000 and heighten the sense of realism even more than last year's highly praised 1/20 scale Ferrari F1-2000 kit. Pre-painted tire design replicates this year's version. Seat belt and cameras are included as separate parts and metal transfer marks used to reproduce side mirror and tail lamp. Parts and decals also provided to reproduce two different machines- M. Schumacher's car #1 and R. Barrichello's car #2.

Previously released in its race debut form, Tamiya is now proud to release an accurate model of the Tyrrell P34 F-1 car as it appeared in its second season, during the Monaco GP under the sponsorship of First National Bank.

The Tyrrell 34 "Six Wheeler" made its race debut in the 1976 Spain GP under the sponsorship of the French oil company Elf. Drivers under Team Elf took 3rd and 4th place as this uniquely designed car raced its way to fame, forever to be remembered in the annals of F-1 racing. The second season for the Tyrrell P34 marked not only a change in sponsor but an experimental change in cowling design to realize increased aerodynamics. Stabilizer placement was altered and the machine's diffuser and roll bar were redesigned as well. This accurate 1/20 scale model will faithfully depict all of these alterations made for the 1977 season.

Brand new parts included for seat belt, rear seat cowling, head rest, front disc brakes, air cooling ducts, and side diffusers on rear wing (white colored parts) are all reproduced with the utmost attention to detail. Metal plated parts included for front lip, roll cage, and front stabilizer. Parts and decals provided in kit allow assembly of two different machines (cars #3 and #4).

In the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show, crowds gathered around a yellow, customized Porsche Boxster referred to as the "exclusive edition." Tamiya will release a new 1/24 scale model of this special version of the Porsche Boxster (previously released as a 1/24 scale model item 24187).

The model of this special "exclusive edition" will include all new parts to reflect alterations. In addition to the 5-spoke wheel of the original model, this version will include parts for recreating the customized version's yellow BBS mesh wheels. New yellow parts also provided for the non-mesh roll bar of the customized version, as well as the fender and body. Base color for the chassis and interior of the "exclusive edition" will be black.

An accurate 1/24 of the machine that competed in the WRC finals. Model replicates the car as it appeared in the Rally of Great Britain.

The current WRC Subaru Impreza WRC 2001 1/24 scale model (Item 24240) depicts the car as it raced on the tarmac of the Monte Carlo Rally. However, this new version depicts the Subaru Impreza WRC 2001 as it raced at night upon the gravel course of Great Britain. Model will feature night racing light pods reproduced with transparent and metallic parts, as well as raised chassis for gravel racing.

Four figures in natural poses to be placed in WWII diorama settings. Figures are ideal for creating a scene around light trucks such as the German Schwimmwagen Type 166 (Item 35224)(Not Included). Figures included will be driver, passenger, standing officer, and standing soldier. Figures can be equipped with small arms such as MP447 and MG42(see German Frontline Infantrymen- Item 35196), and other hand held items such as maps.

Kit includes parts for assembly of two different types of Henschel turrets- early production version with stepped gun mantle and late production type with sloped plates. Kit also features parts for assembly of the DKW NZ350 military-use motorcycle as it appeared in the late WWII era with smaller headlight.

Tamiya will release a large 1/16 scale motorized model of the King Tiger with "Henschel" Turret. This model promises to be one of the more highlighted items at the Nuremberg Hobby Show 2002, where it will be displayed in detail and in motion. The turret's cannon barrel is replicated with aluminum parts.

Like the 1/35 scale German King Tiger (Ardennes Front) (Item 35252), the 1/16 motorized model version will also include parts for recreation of earlier production (stepped) and latter production (sloped) gun mantles. Model comes with tank commander figure, metal parts for chassis and sprocket wheels, pre-assembled tracks and gearbox, as well as one RE260 motor.

Also, just as with the 1/16 Scale German Tiger I Early Production Motorized Model Kit (Item 36203), the 1/16 Scale King Tiger Motorized Model will come with a convenient and trendy carrying bag. Whereas the carrying bag for the Tiger I featured the image of a tiger, this bag will feature an image of an armored calvary soldier. Model uses two C batteries (sold separately).

Towards the end of World War II, when propeller fighter planes were reaching their potential, England and Germany developed the world's first jet fighters. Soon after Germany conducted a successful test flight of the world's first jet plane, the He178, the Messerschmitt company was ordered by the German Airforce to construct the world's first jet fighter.

The result was the Messerschmitt Me262 A-1a jet fighter which packed the firepower of four 30mm guns and clocked in a top speed of 870km/h (fastest recorded prop-plane speed of the time was approx. 700km/h). Tamiya plans to release an authentic 1/48 scale model of the Messerschmitt Me262 A-2a which was the fighter/bomber version of the A-1a, and was equipped with only two guns but packed a full payload of bombs and was dispatched into active combat before the A 1a. The German Me 262 is the arch-rival of the British Gloster Meteor F.1 (featured in the 1/48 scale Aircraft Series as item 61051). (2) 30mm machine guns and observation hatch reproduced with the utmost authenticity. Kit includes parts for rocket boosters (2) used to assist jet take-off with heavy munitions load.

The easy-to-assemble Kettenkraftrad is the first ground crew vehicle to be featured in the 1/48 Aircraft series, and stays true to 1/48 scale without sacrificing the slightest detail. The Kettenkraftrad can be assembled towing the Me262 A-2a. 3 figures included in kit, 2 ground crew and 1 pilot. The figures' postures overflow with realism and enable construction of the ideal diorama scene. The pilot grips the control stick as he leans out the cockpit, astutely watching the Kettenkraftrad pulling the jet. One ground crew figure sits atop the Kettenkraftrad while the other supervises. The intense looks of concentration on the figures bring further realism to this kit.

Two decals included for reproduction of two types of bomb racks on the jet's nose and parts are provided for the replication of two 250kg bombs. Die cast parts on the front landing gear bay keep weight on the front of the plane to prevent the model's rear part from contacting the ground. Three sets of decals are included for the replication of 3 different Me262 A-2a jet fighter/bombers.

Following the DR-10 Strike Revolver, this will be the second Dangun Racer to employ the all new DR Type 2 Chassis, with rear installed motor, improved drive efficiency, easy assembly, standard roller employment, and increased hop-up parts potential.

With its front spoiler and rear spoiler arch, the Wave-Razor has been designed in image of a futuristic drag racer. Body leaves ample space for application of large-diameter tires. Hop-up parts are easy to attach and overall grade-up potential has been increased. Kit comes with Type FA-130 motor.

As with the Dangun Racer GP system the GPA (GP Advanced) system for Mini-4WD racers permits accurate laptime calculation via transponder chip.

The new and improved King of the sand dunes also features new metallic-purple coloring, rear wing, vertical fin, and other hi tech body alterations.
